If you decide to become a driving instructor, do your research, talk to as many training providers as possible, as the training provider will be the most important part of the qualifying process.  This is my twentieth year in driver training and not once in 20 years have I felt like I was going to work.  One of the most important things to remember is that this is a service industry and, therefore, you will need to work unsocial hours from time to time.
