Dave Thackwray Joins Inspire
Great news for all ADI's and PDI's.
We are pleased to announce that Dave Thackwray (SE ADI and Driver Training Assessment Manager) has joined Inspire.
Dave was Driver Trainer and Examiner including 22 years as staff instructor at the Driving Standards Agency Development and Training Centre at Cardington, Bedford.
He was in training and development of all disciplines connected with driving; cars, motorcyles, LGV and PCV.
Latterly, for the last 12 years, up until retirement, Dave was mainly involved in DSA staff to conduct ADI qualifying tests Part 2 and 3, ADI check tests (including role play), fleet qualifying examinations, fleet check tests (also including role play).
He was also responsible for quality control and development of DSA staff conducting the various ADI tests in the field, particularly the North East.
His Role Within Inspire
Dave will be involved heavily in the training of PDI's, ADI Check Test Training, including Fleet Check Tests. He will also deliver all aspects of the Fleet Diploma Course. As a Supervising Examiner (ADI) Dave carried out thousands of Part 2, Part 3 and ADI Check Tests. With his vast experience in this field you will not have a better chance to get the result you are after.
Those of you lucky enough to have met Dave will agree that he is passionate about making a difference and is very excited about being back out there, on the road.
